The Festival calls producers worldwide to participate with their movies. It is into the Annual Program Without Frontiers to valorize Short Films Art, stimulating talent and artistic profit, more than economic investment.
 The Philadelphia Short Film Festival does not favor to famous ones nor discriminates against beginners. All the subjects, forms and techniques, are admitted. There is not censorship.
Does not matter the original format, the shorts will be sent by Internet and displayed in the approved digital form. There is a DVD, CD-ROM, MiniDV or VHS submission option.
The International Jury will award the Categories: screenplay, direction, actor and actress performances, art, photography, edition, and integral realization. The Jury will also grant The Special Prize to the Best Short Film.
In addition, the movies can be selected for the Annual Cinema Contest of the Film Festivals International Federation. The Director of the Winning Film of this competition will receive support for his next Feature Film.
The deadline to send the registrations to the 2003 Philadelphia Short Film Festival is August 31st. Awards are programmed for November 30th, 2003. |
