This is a one-man firm with me, Arvid Søvik, as the manager.
I will give you some information of what I can do for you, and where you can find me.
I make many different wooden things, many of them in turning lathe.
This could be boxes, bowls, vases, goblets, plates, door signs, clocks and lots of other things.
Some of them I keep in natural wood.
Other pieces I decorate, mostly with rosepainting, but it can also be pyrography or carving.
This will be things for different occasions, like gifts, souvenirs, in your daily hosehold, or as a decoration piece in your house.
Please take a look at the sites "bilder lagervarer" and "bilder av tidligere arbeid", which means "pictures of stock products" and "pictures of earlier work".
Where to find me.
I live in a place called Lysekloster, about 26 km south of Bergen City, near Lysøen where the home of the late famous violinist Ole Bull is located.
The distance from the place where the boat can take you over to Ole Bull's villa and to my house is 2 km.
The easiest way to contact me if you are planning to go to the Bergen area, is to first send me an e-mail, and when you arrive here, give me a call and I'll explain how to get here.
If you are staying at one of the two hotels near by me, Solstrand Fjord Hotell or Bjørnefjorden Gjestetun, it is possible for me to meet you there.

You may also visit the remains of a cisterciencer monastery which was built in 1146.
