Rawlings & Wine Ltd, aims to provide convenience for workers and residents in and around Docklands. Combining the opportunity to learn, expand and deepen wine knowledge, at venues located literally on the workplace doorstep.

Our evening events and courses aim to provide a proper and full insight to wine for novices and enthusiasts, while maintaining a social, relaxed atmosphere, ultimately ensuring an enjoyable occasion.

Working in conjunction with several companies in and around Canada Square E14, we are able to offer courses and events in the immediate locality, eliminating the need to travel far to venues after work. They are comfortable and practical for the use intended and often reward with views of the Docklands skyline.

The wine events and courses offered by Rawlings & Wine Ltd in Docklands, follow two paths, those which are relaxed yet informed and those which provide formal education.

Relaxed yet informed. These have naturally evolved over 7 years, providing a social unpressured and relaxed atmosphere in which to experience, listen and join in and learn about wines from around the globe. These courses and events are quite unique and very popular.

Wine education doesn't always be formal and be all about tremendous effort, attending stuffy colleges and lecture rooms.

Rawlings and Wine does provide formal wine education courses but the vast majority are single evening events where the emphasis is on relaxing after a days work in a social atmosphere, while simultaneously learning about wine via tutored evenings. Try to think of the occasion as a social event. Many who attend, come as individuals, groups of colleagues, friends, couples and relatives. Learning about wine should be fun and enjoyable, which is very much the approach adopted when we give presentations. However, very importantly, they will always be professional and accompanied with up to date information.It is common for us to be commended on the excellent value for money our events provide in terms of quality in knowledge and tuition delivered by the host, wines used and venue suitability. Formal Education.

Rawlings & Wine Ltd, is an Approved Programme Provider to the Wines & Spirit Education Trust (WSET).

For formal (WSET) wine education courses, the costs are discounted against those run at the main WSET centres.

Its tutors are Diploma qualified through the WSET and have many years experience of the wine trade, in both the trade and retail sectors.

Furthermore, as students or event attendees past and present, you will be notified of the numerous wine tasting events which are held at Waitrose Canary Wharf throughout the year, most of which will be free entry. This will enable you to consolidate your acquired skills and knowledge, as well as experience more of what Waitrose has to offer.

The courses run by Rawlings & Wine Ltd, have strong links to wines from Waitrose Canary Wharf.

They feature in many of the samples used. This particular store boasts an amazing range of the highest quality global wine styles, some of which are quite rare and hard to source by the public.
