Mondioring,(World Ringsport) a new working dog sport with new rules from different national reglements from the working dog sports in France (French Ringsport), Belgium (Belgian Ring), Netherlands (K.N.P.V) and of Schutzhund from Germany and Switzerland an it was known as....
MONDIORING
Mondioring was developed by trainers from many countries who wanted to create a competition that encompassed selected parts from all the protection sports from the member countries. It was to be a world wide competition at which all the member countries could play equally. The first meeting of interested countries was in 1981 in Tournai, Belgium. The program that was conceived by these first members would be the rallying point of national mondioring programs for working dogs world wide.
In its conception Mondioring was to hold to several underlying principals that would insure that it would be a world wide accepted program and one that was both safe for the dogs and interesting to both the competitors and the public.
The principals of what Mondioring is meant to be are: - A sport that was safe for the dogs competing and without cruelty.
- It would be Entertaining for the spectators.
- It would have different levels of competition with progressive difficulties.
- It would be an international program, accepted by the FCI.
- It would be a challenging competition for passionate dog trainers from all the member countries.
MONDIORING Internationally Recognized and Accepted Since 1, January 1995 the Mondioring program and rules are recognized under the laws of the international dog association F.C.I. (Fédération Canine Internationale)
