Mondioring Exercises and Spirit
The Exercises and Spirit of Mondioring
Exersices in Mondioring: This Chart shows all of the exercises in at the Mondioring 3 level. Not all exercises are done at all levels, and the difficulty of the exersises generally increses as the levels progress up from Brevet or Mondio 1 to Mondio 3. This is a basic outline of the tasks, but keep in mind with the spirit of Mondio, that each competition will have different senarios for each task. In each competition the competition field will be designed differently, the obsticals, accessesories and decoy's work will change. The order of the disiplines Obedience, Jumps, and Protection are always the same. However, the order of the exercises in the disiplines are always drawn at random at the begining of the trial. Once the dog goes on the competition field the handler gives up his leash and collar. The dog must remain under only voice control at all times. There is no pause or break between disiplines, and in MR 3 the dog will work for approximately 45 minutes.
