Norway.Today

"...sometimes fake is... real?"

Next performances:

14th and 15th November 2008 at Southwark Playhouse, London

Norway.Today is a fusion between live theatre and cinematic imagery. Two teenagers, Julie and August, find each other via an internet chat room, with the intent of committing suicide - together. They meet at the foot of a desolate and wintry cliff in the Norwegian wilderness, and laden with backpacks, a tent and a camcorder to document their journey, they begin the steep ascent. Norway.Today is a tale about a paradoxical will to death and passion for life.

Norway.Today was developed with support from Company of Angels and The Junction in Cambridge as part of the Young Angels Theatremakers Awards Program. The production opened at the Junction in February 2008 and will be revived at Southwark Playhouse in London for Company of Angels' Theatre Cafe Festival.
