We are pleased to introduce you our newcomer of the series Katana S from Sebastiano Silvestri (It.). We have included our entire knowledge and some equal technological elements of its older brother „Katana S - 39%“ into it. It shan't surely renounce the likeness with its older brother. There is nothing to be surprised about when we used the same software data for its development and manufacture - just of a smaller scale factor. And yes, all molds were produced on the 3D machines. There is nothing more accurate than in such way manufactured parts.

Now you can be looking forward to the precise work-out of the kit again. Exceptional access to all fuselage components ( big removable cabin case ). Strength and stiffness of the model construction and at the last but not least outstanding flight characteristics both in 3D so in the sports aerobatics.

And what news you can find in this kit?

• first of all it is the central backbone beam for joining the wings from carbon. The beam provides exceptional stiffness and robustness to the wings!
• Special „collar“ on the main wing profile – you may ask WHY – with that detail we are solving the unfavorable effect of chafing the area where wings touch the fuselage . That phenomenon arises due to vibrations in the model operation.
• There are all bulkheads and forced frames glued in the fuselage and their deployment enables great variability in placement of RC equipment
• extremely simple installation of servos for wings and elevator.

Technical characteristics:

Standard kit consists of:

composite parts: The fuselage, cabin frame including the cabin from carbon, engine bonnet rudder, elevator, wing, undercarriage, wheel covers, spiner.

All those parts are embedded and all forced frames and bulkheads are glued in the fuselage.

+ jewel accessories: duralumin connecting pipes, all basic screws and nuts, ultra-light wheels including small axles, spur wheel, bed of ALU for spiner , CNC laminate levers + sets for servos installation into the wing and elevator,

As a commonplace of a kit is a „CD“ enclosed with a lot of picture details and a Model Assembly Guide.

Description of individual parts of the model:

1. Fuselage – vacuum sandwich board with all built-in forced frames and bulkheads including the carbon brackets in the cabin frame.
2. Wing – vacuum sandwich board with the central backbone carbon beam, which provides the wing with a high stiffness and life time. There are 2 servos projected for each wing . Every hoistway is stiffened inside the wing with extra half-ribs. That is because to prevent the torsion of that place during the servos operation (elimination of inaccuracy in control tracks and servos synchronizing).
3. Elevator – vacuum sandwich board, where the moving parts are traveling in the sliding non-rewirable hinges. The hoistways for two servos in both halves are designed the same way as in wings. For joining the elevators there are used two duralumin pipes of dia. 10 mm.
4. Rudder – vacuum sandwich board, its way of turning is the same as by the elevator. Attention - the rudder is detachable . For easier and more hands-on handling (assembly/ dismantling) is the axle extractable at the upper side of the rudder. BY THAT YOU CAN REACH A SUBSTANTIAL SHORTENING OF THE FUSELAGE AND MODEL IS CONVENIENT TO BE TRANSPORTED IN YOUR CAR:

5. The cabin frame / frame – is a vacuum sandwich board with a possibility of selection of cabin installation.
   • Carbon – black - is included within the standard equipment . That cabin is laminated directly into the frame and that is why it is very compact and light.
   • Transparent – clear is available on an Extra order. That cabin should be glued in the frame additionally and you will receive it from us already stuck up!
   The system for attachment to the fuselage is very simple – it utilizes only 6 screws M4 + 6 fixtures see.pic. you can find it all in the Model Assembly Guide together with CNC levers for by us recommended system.
6. Engine hood – laminate part which should be installed using 6 screws on the fuselage . You can put easily all 80 up 120 ccm engines into that hood.
7. Landing gear and wheel covers – composite parts very clearly and smoothly shaped with respect to the maximum aerodynamic cleanness (small head resistance).
8. Spiner – laminate part with aluminum washer. The cone is fixed to the engine with one central screw.

And at the end - are you interested how much work are you going to have with model finishing? It is approximately 50 to 60 hours of modelers works.

The kit is offered in two layouts:

BASE – it is a two-color version of the model. We can offer you spraying of any RAL scale color and that with distinguishing of color overhead and underneath the model.
That model type is convenient for those of you who like to paint your model according to your imaginations. You can use as acrylate colors (two-pack paint for cars) as self-sticking foils (Oracal, Spandex … utilized in the advertising companies).

You can also purchase from us the original set of self-adhesives „SEBA“. It is a very simple solution with very beautiful results (Photo).

PRO TOP DESIGN – we have prepared 5 original designs for you, which are sprayed directly into molds. It depends only on your taste which one you choose.
