Hi, and welcome to my website ! My name is Gerd Jorgensen. I was born in Denmark, and brought up there and in Southern Africa. Today I am based in Norway, Scandinavia, but continue to make use of the African wilderness for trails and courses. During my childhood I developed a great love for the outdoors. The African bush, mountains and rivers, with all the wildlife that abounds there, formed an integral part of my life. I have always been a keen hobbiest, making stuff with my hands. I made my first knife when I was about 9 years old, and have been making bows for as long as I can remember. Although I'm Scandinavian by birth, I am also very influenced by the international way of making knives, and I enjoy to experiment with different materials and design ideas.

I build both knives and bows to order, one at a time. Although I am constantly working on new designs, this website is a good representation of my current range. The pictures on these pages do however only represent a small selection of the things that I make, and if you are looking for something special, then do not hesitate to contact me. Most of my knives are made with a base in the Scandinavian tradition, but I am also greatly inspired by the more international knife designs. Above all, my aim is to make knives of high quality of both design, materials and workmanship. 

In addition to the designs shown, I also welcome the opportunity to build to the customer's design - and would in this instance supply you with a drawing and price for our mutual agreement.
