Stipendutstilling 5. - 28. oktober,
åpning fredag 5. oktober 19.00-22.00

Teknikker: Maleri, collage, fotografi og skulptur (ta kontakt med galleriet hvis du er usikker på om din teknikk kommer med i betrakning).

Du kan sende søknad bestående av følgende:

1) Bilder av arbeid i jpg. format, maks. 1000 pixler i bredde, med for- og etternavn, str, nr og pris som filnavn på denne måten: nordmann_ola_00x00cm_01_2000.jpg, nordmann_ola_00x00cm_02_3000.jpg, nordmann_ola_00x100cm_03_2000.jpg osv...
2) I selve mailen fører du opp info for hvert arbeid: tittel, år, teknikk samt cv og kontaktinformasjon (ikke som vedlegg).
3) 100 kr per bilde i administrasjonsgebyr (minimum 2 bilder, maksimum 10) bes settes inn på kontonr 1503.23.40595 samtidig med innsendt søknad. Betalingen må merkes med fullt navn på søker og blir registrert som påmelding.
3) Arbeider på mail merkes med stipendutstilling 2012 og sendes til stipend@galleriramfjord.no innen den 25.juni 2012
4) For de som går videre til 2.juryering: levering av ett arbeid i avd lll: Schwensensgate 1 på St.Hanshaugen mandag 6.august mellom 12.00-16.00. Personlig oppmøte er ikke nødvendig.
5) 2-dimensjonale verk må ikke overskride 150x150cm og 3-dimensjonale verk 2m i høyde.
6) Selve stipendutstillingen vil være en salgsutstilling, så alle arbeider som sendes inn må være til salgs. Galleriet tar 45% i kommisjon. Kunstnerne må selv dekke transport t/r Oslo - t/r New York.
7) Merk mailen: Stipendutstilling 2012

Søknader som ikke innholder riktig informasjon eller innbetaling vil ikke bli behandlet. Juryen vil desverre ikke ha mulighet til å begrunne eventuelle avslag.

Juryering

1. gangsjuryering: 30 kunstnere/arbeider blir valgt ut til 2.juryering. Disse blir offentliggjort med bilde på www.galleriramfjord.no i august.
2. gangsjuryering: 15 kunstnere blir valgt ut til å stille ut et arbeid hver i galleriet. Alle kunstnerne får stille ut i New York i oktober, hvorav 3 av disse vil motta reise-stipend. 1.prisen vil innkluderer reise, opphold og transport av kunstverk. Disse vil bli offentliggjort på www.galleriramfjord.no før utstillingsåpning 25.august.

2.juryering foregår i galleriet uten cv og informasjon om hvem som har laget kunstverkene. Juryen er ekstern og uavhengig, galleriet har ingenting med selve juryeringen å gjøre.

JURIED SHOW / GRANTS EXHIBITION

ON THE OCCASION OF OUR 14-YEAR ANNIVERSARY, WE ARE PLEASED TO INVITE ALL ARTISTS TO SUBMIT WORKS TO A JURIED EXHIBITION TO BE HELD IN TWO VENUES: GALLERY RAMFJORD, OSLO, AND NOoSPHERE ARTS, NEW YORK.

Dates:

Galleri Ramfjord, Oslo:
Juried anniversary exhibition and prize competition: August 25-September 23
Opening reception: Saturday, August 25, 6-9 pm (Prize Award Ceremony 7 pm)

NOoSPHERE Arts (formerly .NO), New York:
Juried Exhibition: October 5-28
Opening reception: Friday, October 5, 7-10 pm

Media: Painting, collage, photography and sculpture (if you are unsure whether your media qualifies for entry, please contact the gallery).

Please submit an application consisting of the following materials:

1) Images of artwork in jpg format, max 1000 pixels wide, named as follows: first and last name, size in centimeters, number and sale price in NOK. Examples: smith_john_00x00cm_01_2000.jpg; smith_john_00x00cm_02_3000.jpg; smith_john_00x100cm_03_2000.jpg, etc…
2) In the body of your email, please list the following information for each artwork: Title, year, media, as well as your resume and contact information (do not submit these data as attachments).
3) An application fee of NOK 100 per image (minimum 2 images, maximum 10) to be deposited into bank account no. 1503.23.40595 at the time of submission. Please list applicant’s full name on your payment, which will count as your official enrollment into the contest.
3) Submit your entry by email with “Stipendutstilling 2012” in the subject line to stipend@galleriramfjord.no by June 25, 2012
4) For applicants selected in the first round: Please drop off one original artwork at Galleri Ramfjord, Div. III, located at Schwensensgate 1 in the St. Hanshaugen neighborhood on Monday, August 6, 12-4 pm. You do not need to appear in person.
5) 2D works must not exceed 150x150cm; 3D works must not exceed 2m in height.
6) The juried exhibition will be a sales show, so all submitted works must be for sale. The gallery charges a 45% sales commission. The participating artists are responsible for shipping costs to and from Oslo and New York.

Incomplete or unpaid entries will not be considered. Unfortunately, the jury cannot explain its reasoning for any rejection.

Jurying Process:

Initial Selection Round: 30 artists/artworks will be selected for the final round. The relevant images will be posted on www.galleriramfjord.no in August.
Final Selection Round: 15 artists will be selected to exhibit one work each in the gallery. All finalists will participate in the New York show in October, and the top three will each receive a travel grant. The first prize consists of airfare, accommodation and transportation of artwork. The winners will be announced on www.galleriramfjord.no prior to the exhibition opening on August 25.

The final selection round, which will take place in the gallery, is blind ? no artists’ names or resumes given. The jury is comprised of external, independent members; the gallery has no say in their selections.
