The bottle uses the Ionic Adsorption Micro Filtration (IAMF) system. The IAMF system is made up of thousands of interconnected 2-micron omni-directional pores. This method of filtration is very effective at blocking contaminants. The system also utilizes a coconut carbon filtration system. This filter effectively removes or reduces up to 99.8% of the contaminants found in most untreated water sources, including more than 99.99% of the Giardia levels.
