Rainforest friendlier soaps: Fitjar Soap wishes to make soaps that are good for us and for nature. It is important that the soaps are gentle to our skin, but just as important is the fact that hard soap is an environmentally good choice. They require only a minimum of packaging (and the box can be recycled), and they have no preservatives and are completely biodegradable. And now, Fitjar Soap is taking yet another step in the right direction: It is a sad fact that the rainforests of the world are being chopped down, to make room for palm oil plantations for making palm oil for bio fuel and also as the primary ingredient in comercial soaps. Even thouigh Fitjar Soap is only a small producer of soaps, it is an important token action to make our small contribution in this matter. We have decided to stop using palm oil in our soaps. Little by little, the soaps were made with our new recipe, and are just a little more reinforest friendlier this way. All Fitjarsoaps are now made without palm oil. |

The soapmaker spends a lot of time hatching out new ideas for interesting blends of scents, to reflect different ideas ans moods.
I invite you to explore the webshop and read about the different soaps. New soaps are added from time to time, and the old ones change slightly, so there is always something new.

We now offer two organic soaps: Nyasha and Nyasha Black. Both made with only pure unrefined organic oils. You will be overwhelmed with the superb skin care and the uplifting sweet scent of these soaps. No essential oils added. |
