The FESTIVAL DE CINE INTERNACIONAL DE BARCELONA calls short films producers worldwide to participate with their works.

This Festival has been incorporated into the Annual Programme Without Frontiers to valorise Short Films Art, encouraging talent and artistic results rather than focusing on the economic investment.

It does not favour celebrities nor does it discriminate beginners. All contents, forms and techniques are admitted. There is no censorship in this Festival.

 It does not consider the original format: the shorts will be sent by Internet and displayed in the approved digital form. There is also a DVD, CD-ROM, MiniDV or VHS submission alternative for producers who prefer this option.

The International Jury will award the Categories: screenplay, direction, actor and actress performances, art, photography, edition, and integral realisation. The Jury will also grant The Special Prize to the Best Short Film.

The early deadline to send the registrations to the FESTIVAL DE CINE INTERNACIONAL DE BARCELONA 2004 is March 31st, 2004. The announcement of the Awards is programmed for August 31st, 2004.
