Jan-Eje is Swede by birth and graduated economist. He got his drama education at the Kulturama Theatre School, Stockholm. After 30 years in bank and in the oil section, he became an author and has written and edited 12 books and is a member of the Swedish Writer's Union (SFF) and The Writers Centre, Stockholm. In 2007 and 2010 he was granted the Big Travel award by the SFF in 2007. He has also written scripts for the stage, for TV and for film productions. Since 1995 he has got his own publishing company and film company, Ferling Ord & Bild, in Stockholm. Jan-Eje has produced and directed a number of documentaries and fictions films. He is a member of the Independent Filmmakers Association (OFF) in Sweden. Jan-Eje has been awarded for his films in several European countries and in Russia, Ukraine and also in USA and Canada. He has got his film distribution company in Toronto, Canada. Six of his short films have received awards in Festivals of the Program, including Best Fiction film for Tysta Rop at the 2006 Golden Gate Fiction & Documentary Festival, Best Direction for Final Curtain Call at the 2006 San Francisco Short Film Festival, Best Actress Performance for The Solution at the 2007 Short Film Festival of Los Angeles, Best Integral Realization for Sjalar ofh Mustasches at the 2008 Festival du Cinéma de Bruxelles, Best Fiction Film for Frizon at the 2009 Philadelphia Documentary & Fiction Festival, and Best Actor Performance for Just for Today, at the 2010 New York Short Film Festival. | |

Christopher Swider
Christopher Swider, a graduate of Columbia College, Chicago, holds a Master of Fine Arts Degree from the Directing Program of the Polish National Film School, Lodz, Poland (PWSFTv i T). He has made both documentary and narrative films. Mr. Swider is a professor at Columbia College, Chicago where he teaches directing, and he is a producer at BulletProof Film in Chicago. Mr. Swider also works as a script consultant and continues to write screenplays, both dramas and comedies. Four of his screenplays have been awarded in screenwriting competitions. His screenplay, Peter and the Chrome Plated Fish, was awarded first prize in the comedy screenplay category at the Houston International Film Festival in April 2007. His one-hour documentary Children in Exile was awarded two first prizes among the multiple awards it received in international competitions, including a Special Mention at the Festival de Cine de Granada and the Best Photography Award at the 2009 Festival du Film de Strasbourg. It has also been broadcast in Belarus, Poland, and Denmark. | |

International Jury Member Tate Bunker
Since graduating with his masters in filmmaking at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 2001, Tate Bunker has worked on many diverse projects and won awards as a filmmaker, television producer, and artist. For over fifteen years, Bunker has made over forty films of his own, which have been screened internationally and domestically. In 2004, he finished his first feature length film, Yellow Light, which earned him Best Milwaukee Filmmaker in the Milwaukee International Film Festival, and best director nomination at the SMASH Film Festival. Bunker has also received an Emmy, and three Emmy nominations for a national TV show he created and produced called Gumbo Television. In addition, he has produced, directed, and shot over 60 commercials and corporate promos earning another Emmy nomination. He also won a Paris Film Festival "Best Cinematography" prize and the Best Art Direction Award at the New York Short Film Festival for his Stanley Kubrick-inspired short "Starlite". | |
International Jury Member Giorgi Kharebava
Giorgi Kharebava is a filmmaker and cinematographer from Tbilisi, Georgia. Giorgi has been studying film and working with film reels at young filmmakers group since he was 12. The film schools he attended includes Georgia's Tbilisi University of Theatre and Film, as well as Italian National School of Cinema in Rome. He has produced and directed six documentary features and a few short fictions. He has also long experience in cinematography, serving as D.P. of various titles. He has been teaching film directing at Tbilisi University of Theatre and Film since 2002, currently working towards his PhD. He is pursuing his film career as a founder and C.E.O. of GFM Studio, a production company based in Tbilisi, Georgia, with several titles in production. His early work Unscrupulous was awarded the Youth Jury Award at the Molodist International Film Festival, and the Best Direction Award at the 2003 New York Short Film Festival. | | |
