Sister Sue Beaumont and staff nurses in Urology Outpatients Department at Sheffield's Royal Hallamshire Hospital are now successfully using the 5Ltr purple and yellow Bio-bin® for their cytotoxic waste produced during the treatment for bladder cancer.
The nurses have found that the design is ideal as they can use one Bio-bin® per treatment without having too much wasted space as they have found with some of the larger sharps containers. Sister Sue Beaumont finds it very convenient to be able to order the Bio-bin® through the NHS Supply Chain. |
