As a result of the support of Alan Crooks from our Northern Ireland distributer Vector Scientific, the Bio-bin® is now in use at Northern HSC Trust Laboratories. Biomedical Scientist and Laboratory Health and Safety Officer David Wright and his staff are currently using several hundred per month of the 5Ltr yellow Bio-bin® for clinical waste disposal in their laboratories.
The haematology, biochemistry and microbiology departments at the hospital have all adopted the Bio-bin® system and incorporated it into their existing waste stream whereby waste is ultimately sent to the Trust's eco-friendly alternative technology plant to be heat treated. | This table shows where and how other Laboratories are already using the Bio-bin®

Incineration |
A benefit to labs as they have large openings allowing the pipettes and pipette tips to be dropped straight in. They get through a large amount so it is important that they can do this quickly and safely. |

Excellent Product- minor gripe: sticky tabs sometimes pop up
New version of Bio-bin® now has larger tabs to combat this |

They are user friendly, fit well on the benches and the loops fit nicely ensuring they close well. We have had no leaks.
Good size and the new fold flat design is very good as it stores much easier. |
