Bio-Pax® is a new system that enables a single use consumable item to be pre-packed inside its own waste container Bio-bin®
creating an all in one product.
The system provides everything the user needs to simplify their procedure while reducing cost, time, storage and waste. Once opened Bio-Pax® becomes a Bio-bin® and the consumable items are removed for use. The used items are returned to the Bio-bin® which is then sealed and sent for final disposal.
We are working closely with  and  to make the first lab consumables Bio-Pax® exclusively available through Fisher Scientific from 2010.
We are also working with  to make Bio-Pax® available to users of single use surgical instruments.
System
The first lab consumables Bio-Pax® will contain 200 Sterilin 10ml Pipette, individually wrapped, plastic film packaging, plugged. The product range will then be set to grow once an initial trial period has been completed.
Savings
The initial cost of Bio-Pax® will be slightly higher, however it will help you to save money all the way to final disposal as well as significantly reducing your CO2 emisions
