Bio-bin® is available in a variety of sizes to suit a large range applications. If you create infectious waste the there will be a size and colour to suit your needs.
Colours
Every size of Bio-bin® is available to order in the new waste segregation colours set out in the Health Technical Memorandum 07-1: Safe management of Healthcare waste issued by the Department of Health which aims to standardise and simplify the segregation of infectious waste.

Autoclaving
As Bio-bin® is a UN approved container for transporting waste there is no need to autoclave prior to final disposal, however if company policy states you need to autoclave then click here for some useful information about autoclaving the Bio-bin® in different types of autoclave.

The sealed Bio-bin® is placed into the autoclave.
The heat inside the autoclave attacks the adhesive seal and slowly opens up the Bio-bin®, automaticaly allowing the steam inside to sterilise the contents. |
