Dovreskogen Gjestegård is situated for your convenience right by the side of the European highway "E6", through the valley of Gudbrandsdalen.
What we offfer: At a reasonable price, a stay in rural surroundings. A cafeteria, and rooms for parties, meetings and courses, as well as gas station with a small grocery store. There is even a picnic area surrounded by a beautiful scenery. And a toilet drain for buses and campers.
Activities: Excellent starting point for fishing and outdoor life. The river Gudbransdalslågen is one of the best trout rivers in Northern Europe. Hiking alson marked trails and paths in the Jotunheimen, Rondane and Dovrefjell National Parks. Excursions to the peak Jetta, 1618 meters alt. The Dombås alpine ski resorts is situated 24 kilometers further west. Tennis courts and football fields nearby.
Attractions: The open air museum Budsjord, a farm dating back to medieval ages, owned by the archbishop of Nidaros. At Lom, the stave chruch, the rock senter and the mountains museum. 9 km off is Jørundgard, a medieval farm built for the shooting of the film "Kristin Lavransdatter" by Sigrid Undset
