Synopsis of the Film: The protagonist of TRANSIGURATION is "The Savage". In preparation for taking his customary ritual bath in the lake, "The Savage" prunes the hair of his armpits with a scythe and, like a wild boar, grates his back against a rough post. Driving his old moped down towards the lake through gorgeous countryside, "The Savage" clearly loves the ride. Master of provocation through delight, his vitality and joy of life is always contagious. Arriving at his favorite beach, "The Savage" solemnly disrobes and, following an extended fit of ecstasy, he luxuriously immerses himself in the sacred waters. TRANSFIGURATION signifies metamorphosis, transmutation and change. It also means you can transform your exterior so that it harmonizes with your inner side.
