The village, which is the subject of this documentary film, is a village that has lived through many events and become affected during the last century like the Russian war, exile of the Armenians, Geliye Zila, Agri Resistance and as the last, the war in the region that is ever continuing. Many more people in the village, where this film has been shot, have taken refuge in European countries with an hope of an better life.
Miraz-Hope is about the youth, who has found the hope by going to Europe through illegal ways and about the expectancy of the mother and the father, who have hope that their children, who have taken refuge in France in the same way, would come back one day.
Bio-filmography of the Director: Biography
He was born in 1979. He completed his primary education in Ağrı. He graduated from Suleyman Nazif High School. He studied Cinema-TV-Radio at Ataturk University. While he was at Communication Faculty, he started his photograph works. He went on working photograph in different subjects,he gave photograph seminars at different institution including universities.He is still carrying on his works in documentary cinema field. He is still studying at Cinema-Tv Deparment of Fine Arts Institute, Marmara University.
