The Punta del Este Documentary & Fiction Festival is incorporated in the Annual Program Without Frontiers to valorize talent and artistic outcome, instead of financial investment.
It does not favor celebrities nor does it discriminate to beginners. Without censorship, all contents, forms and techniques are admitted.
For equality of opportunities, it does not consider the original format. All films will be displayed for evaluation and public screening in the same digital format. There is not limitation on film duration.
The Festival will award screenplay, direction, actor and actress performances, art, photography, editing, and integral realization. The Jury will also grant The Special Prize to the Best Documentary and The Special Prize to the Best Fiction Film.
