The nature of the design of the jointer assemblies fitted to all high speed Wadkin moulders, means that after prelonged usage, the 'quick-action' nut within the unit shows signs of wear. It is essential that the unit is rebuilt before any wear in transferred to the male thread, as this can be a costly item to replace. Timely intervention can save you hundreds of pounds and greatly increase surface finish and productivity from you moulder. AMS can now offer a full factory reconditioning service for you Wadkin jointers, this includes :-
Full visual inspection of the return unit. Removal of all resin in our ultra-sonic cleaning tanks Strip down and preparation of the 'quick-action' screw assembly. Detailed inspection of the male thread component. Full alignment and 're-casting' of the composite thread assembly. 24 hour cure time and easing off the cast thread.
