Roving Training Seminars

Although I am one of those boring senior karate practitioners who cannot boast of any direct war experience anywhere; or any impressive street-fighting record; and neither any serious disco bouncer experience, the stuff I have been taught and continue to teach works. I suit my seminars to the needs and wishes of my clients, be it basic technique training, kata and bunkai/ application, self-defence, kumite/ sparring, competition, fitness, mental training, etc.

MY SELF-DEFENCE/ COMPETITION GUIDING PRINCIPLES

  1. Why fight when everyone else can?
  2. If you have to fight, fight! Just don’t lose! (Stephen Chan, 8th Dan)
  3. Do what you feel, feel what you do.
  4. Speak well with your words; speak well with your body.
  5. Know yourself.
  6. Know your opponent/ s.
  7. Have an open mind and be flexible to change.
  8. Rather respond than react.
  9. Have fun!

Interested clubs, etc. are encouraged to get in touch. I am as comfortable working with children as with adults. In Norway I have taught at major all-styles seminars in Risør, Ski, and Sarpsborg. I have also done rounds in some clubs in Oslo and the surrounding areas. International requests are also most welcome. For the latter the rates below are exclusive of travel expenses, which the client/ s undertake to meet.
