| New Projector and New Full Dome films | In 2009 the world celebrated the International Year of Astronomy to commemorate the 400th anniversary of Galileo's use of a telescope to study the night sky. 2009 was also the anniversary of many other important dates in the history of science, such as the publishing of Kepler's Astronomia Nova, Huygens' Systema Saturnium, and the first moon landing. | | The Science Dome has upgraded the equipment to be able to show all dome projection with a new US dome and 2008 US Gamma Projector.
The two new shows for the projector are;
'Introduction to Stargazing' and ‘Story telling and the Stars’
2008 Gamma projector is the most advance mobile projector in the world with state of the art Stellarium software. This can also be downloaded and used on a PC desktop for a test. Visit the link below.
