| The Solar System Tour and Beyond Show | This show consists of computerised tour of the solar system together with real NASA pictures of the planets. | | Within the dome the audience sits on the floor (can be seated for adults). An accurate representation of the night sky is then projected on the inner surface of the dome once the lights have been switched off.
A grand tour of the planets is shown starting with earth and the moon. Mars is explored landing on the surface with real 3D pictures. The outer planets are shown using computerised software and then real NASA pictures integrated within the programme.
The shows consist of using the dome for the picture show and then moving outside for experiments and interactive games.
Programmes could be partial constructed by the school in advance to reflect current classroom subjects and using ‘outside the dome’ equipment such as 4 types of parachutes illustrating planets, time and seasons and nature.
