National Science & Engineering Week 2010.

National Science & Engineering Week is on 12th- 21st March 2010.

Please note we operate 3 domes now and may be able to fit you in during this week. Grants are available from National Science.

National Science & Engineering Week is always booked well in advance and for 2010 we are already fully booked for two of our domes. The other dome may be able to cover--contact us quickly please.

New 360 degree Full Dome Film: Down to Earth- Zula Patrol
This is an amazing full dome cartoon film about Earth Science and 'Looking after the Earth', suitable for up to year6

8 metre outdoor domes for large planetarium events now available.
Our aim; Bring astronomy to the public and make it accessible to all. Our outside domes are unique to the country and they consist of two large scale 8 metre diameter domes for the outside (or sited indoors for a large feature). Domes can now be booked for any large event, indoors for a conference, or outside for a fair or museum event.

Award Winning 'Fractal' Programme comes to the Science Dome
Fractals is the spectacular, award-winning fulldome planetarium show that takes viewers on a tour of the fractals in nature and zooms through infinitely complex mathematical fractals. Featuring original music, the show is both educational and highly entertaining, and suitable for audiences 3 and up

Bookings increasing for the Summer 2010 Term.
Four domes based in Oxford, London and Bournemouth already busy. Please ensure you plan your schools event early with us, as we can take booking 6 to 8 months in advance. Certain dates during a term can be very busy.

Subjects such as 'Light and Sound' and 'Light\Dark and Space' and 'Soils and Rocks'
'Light and Sound' examples of other subjects covered in the dome KS1/KS2/KS3.
