Science Dome

Science Dome is designed to explore science, geology and geography in an interactive way. The Science Dome provides an additional science resource for schools and presents a different learning experience to children.

We provide a mobile planetarium and natural history shows (rocks, soils, fossils and dinosaurs) to schools, colleges, youth clubs, scouts groups and playgroups. The service is provided in a blacked-out purpose built mobile dome which can be sited indoors using a school hall. The dome can cater for a large event up to 60 people with special multimedia equipment and lens to provide a spectacular show for entertainment and education that only a planetarium can provide.

Please see our school programme website at http://sciencediscoverydome.co.uk/ for full details.

We operate two mobile domes from Bournemouth and from Oxford, covering the whole of the South of England and the Midlands. We also tour the rest of the UK and EIRE on request.

Available soon, we have a large 8 metre diameter fixed dome for any major outside event (see news item).

A full day visit costing in the range of £375 (excluding VAT) with a typical day including up to five class shows.

 VAT number 926 3431 30.
